Job Summary

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of creative content on the E-Commerce website by driving the development and execution of all online business initiatives through the conscientious application of Sporting Life standards to achieve our mission statement: To be a retailer with Passion, Knowledge, Integrity committed to a relentless desire to improve our performance in creating the highest quality experience for all Customers and Staff.

Essential Functions

• Takes pictures of the product that will be shown in online catalogue as per the company standards
• Use Photoshop to adjust images to ensure consistency of photos in catalogue
• Download and modify images from vendor websites
• Upload images onto external image server through FTP
• Responsible for the secure storage of all products
• Serves as a role model for Sporting Life policies and procedures
• Provides excellent customer service to Sporting Life’s internal an external customers
• Promotes Sporting Life’s House Philosophy in all aspects of the business
• Performs other related tasks, duties or assignments as required

Skill Requirements

• Previous experience in the retail setting with management or leadership skills is preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Internet Explorer, AS400, Adobe Photoshop
• Prior experience in e-commerce including retail business & fulfillment required
• Excellent communication with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy at all levels
• High energy level with a strong work ethic
• Understanding and identification with the basic goals of the organization
• Strong analytical ability coupled with creative problem-solving skills
• Must be able to lift 5 – 10 lbs (i.e. lifting and dressing mannequins)
• Must be able to handle repetitive tasks
• Must possess strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
